Beyond Business: Lessons from the world That strengthened inner faith
When we visit a temple or any religious place we can see many shops displaying flowers and other puja offerings to devotes. If we observe we can see that all shops offer the same puja things and subtle difference if any could be in the range. All shop keepers survive by being fiercely competitive. Some shop keepers offer value added experience and offer to look after our footwear for free as we visit the temple. This is a simple value add which appeals to inner most need of a devotee keen to visit the temple. Some shop keepers invest time and effort in merchandising their offer of flowers most attractively. It is art and skill put together. It is instinct for survival by bringing in differentiation. Most importantly one can observe a certain inner calmness in each of them.
